Miss Junior New Zealand 2014 Finals

Miss Junior New Zealand 2014 Finals

The finals of Miss Junior New Zealand 2014 will take place over two very exciting nights!
The focus of Miss Junior New Zealand is to develop future leaders of New Zealand by allowing young women to flourish and excel in a comfortable and motivating environment.
The term “beauty” means to have a beautiful heart, mind and soul and this is shown through certain characteristics that we encourage and develop throughout the programme.
There are many common misconceptions around youth oriented pageants. The easiest way to address these is to illustrate the key values of Miss Junior New Zealand.
What we are about:
- Encouraging future women leaders
- Developing self esteem
- Fostering kindness and good sportsmanship
- Teaching the values of charity and community involvement
- Encouraging intelligence and self expression
- Teaching the values of poise and sophistication
In order to achieve these values, we create a fun, challenging and encouraging environment. We also incorporate trainings from a range of experts in order to give the girls the most holistic personal development experience possible.
What we are not about:
- We are not a pageant based at all on looks, makeup and glitter.
We don’t believe such values are the real definition of beauty, and so we take several steps throughout the process to make sure they are not a meaningful part of training or judging.
At MJNZ there is no spray tanning, no big poufy hair, no ridiculous heels, no “go-go” juice, no stage mums, no tantrums and no screaming horrible choreographers and directors!
One girl will be crowned “Miss Junior New Zealand 2014”. The winner of this title is the girl who best embodies the values MJNZ stands for and who we believe will be the best ambassador for Inner Beauty. We are looking for a girl who can encourage and inspire others girls to make a positive impact in our country. The winner of MJNZ will be someone who is extremely dedicated, motivated, committed, responsible, intelligent, helpful, caring, empathetic, positive and driven. She would have shown outstanding examples of leadership, initiative, charity and community involvement. She will be an exceptional role model and poses characteristics such as poise, grace and true inner beauty.
We have some exciting news to be announced on the final too!
MJNZ is a programme designed to transform girls into confident young women who have the appropriate skills, knowledge and characteristics to achieve their life’s ambition, at their own pace. The finals is not the focus, it is simply a celebration of their hard work over the past 3 months.
Come along ready to cheer, support and encourage all of the incredible Miss Junior New Zealand 2014 girls!
